The election of 1896 changed how campaigns are run and many of the new tactics and logistical campaigning done in 1896 are still being used today. I highly recommend this book to anyone that is remotely interested in Presidential elections, William McKinley, William J. Bryan, the Populist Party or how voter participation has changed through the years.
